Job Description

Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or other similar technical discipline.
* Previous professional experience in EGSE design, specification and procurement.
* Previous professional experience in EGSE integration, commissioning and maintenance.
* Awareness of relevant ECSS/CCSDS Standards.
* Strong problem-solving and pragmatic mindset.
* Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
* English mandatory, French is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
* Design and/or specify EGSE Architecture and associated Equipment (i.e. Power, RF,…) answering the SWISSto12 and customers needs / requirements, managing interfaces with system/subsystems, contributing to test plans, specifications, procedures, scripts for the different subsystems and System testing.
* Manage suppliers during the EGSE procurement process, from specification to acceptance of the equipment: support bid preparation activities, prepare Technical Specifications and Statements of Work as required, evaluate proposals and feed the decision making, to answer technical queries, review suppliers documentation and RID generation during formal reviews (PDR/CDR/…), to attend the factory acceptance (FAT) where required.
* Produce EGSE documentation for project as needed (design reports; user manuals; test procedures; configuration management reports; maintenance and spares plans).
* Contribute to System level documentation for project (AIT Plan, Test Specifications, FlatSat configuration file,…).
* Perform Integration and Commissioning of the EGSE, before use on AIV/AIT (including connection to control center databases etc,…).
* Provide EGSE training.
* Organize periodic maintenance and calibration of items with EGSE racks as required.
* Lead the investigation and resolution of NCR’s relating to EGSE.
* Work closely with the test engineers to ensure the EGSE is correctly configured for the testing phase.
* Prepare the EGSE for transportation, and perform set up and validation on environmental test and launch campaigns.
* Collaborative work applying quality standards and internal processes.
* Troubleshooting technical problems and implementing solutions.
