Sales Manager – Private Markets (Europe)
Our client is a fast-growing GP investing in secondary and venture capital. To support their expansion across Europe, they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager Private Markets with a strong existing network of family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, private banks, and wealth managers. This role is pivotal to driving the fundraising efforts of their upcoming fund. The position can be based anywhere in Europe.
Responsibilities
* Identify and engage new investors (External Asset Managers, foundations, small/mid-sized family offices) and open new distribution channels.
* Maintain and deepen existing client relationships while broadening the investor network by segment and country.
* Detect and assess new market opportunities, developing tailored entry and expansion strategies with actionable execution plans.
* Coordinate and initiate international marketing initiatives (mailings, client events, seminars) in close collaboration with the Head of Investor Relations and CEO.
Profile
* Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent; CFA/CAIA designation is a +.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in private markets sales within asset management, with a proven fundraising track record.
* Strong existing network among family offices, wealth managers, and UHNWIs is essential.
* Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and results-driven, with high ownership and accountability.
* Ability to work independently while contributing as a collaborative team player.
* Proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and attention to deadlines.
* Proficiency in English required; fluency in the language of your core sales market(s).
