We are looking for a dedicated Application Engineer for one of our clients to support customer projects in the field of fiber composite technology.

Your tasks:
* Management of development and customer projects for plastic applications (thermoplastics/thermosets, GRP/CFRP) using various manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, 3D printing techniques, GRP hand laminates and vacuum infusion.
* Development of components and assemblies according to customer requirements.
* Planning, design, implementation and documentation of experiments and tests.
* Optimization and development of processing processes.
* Manufacturing process design, co-development of initial sample test reports (EMPB) and acceptance procedures.
Your profile:
* Completed technical studies, e.g., in plastics engineering, mechanical engineering, or materials science.
* Several years of professional experience in the development of complex parts made of high-performance plastics for application areas such as automotive, railway or industry.
* In-depth expertise in plastics technology with regard to materials, manufacturing processes and the design of plastic parts.
* Very good knowledge of German and English.
