Tasks & Challenges
* Prepare and cook meals for hotel staff according to the planned menu
* Plan and organize daily food production including portion control and timely service during designated meal periods
* Supporting the Canteen Supervisor and Chef de Parties (main kitchen)
* Working according to HACCP
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
* Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
* From time to time preparing food for the main kitchen
* Completed vocational training as a chef in the gastronomy / hotel industry
* First experience in a comparable position in the hotel / catering industry
* Attention to detail, creativity and reliability
* Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and enthusiasm
* Good knowledge of English, any other foreign language would be an advantage
* Service oriented
* Ability to work in a structured and organized manner
* Positive attitude
* Team player
