Main Responsibilities:
·The practical implementation, evaluation, and documentation of the anti-measles neutralization test as part of a method optimization project.
·Close practical and theoretical collaboration with a specialist from the method development group within the framework of the above-mentioned project.
·Further tasks include (depending on the workload of the main task):
·Cell culture routine (e.g. splitting of adherent cell lines)
·Carrying out other neutralization tests in the QC routine (anti-polio and anti-diphtheria neutralization test)
·Participation in the maintenance, calibration and monitoring of analytical equipment
·Participation in the procurement and stock management of consumables and laboratory materials
·Participation in the maintenance of the laboratory (e.g. laboratory cleaning)
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
2. Completed vocational apprenticeship as a laboratory technician specializing in biology or comparable training (e.g. Bachelor, HF, FH etc.)
3. Experience with cell assays and cell culture technology
4. Experience working in the BSL2 virus laboratory
5. Experience in a GMP environment is an advantage
6. Willingness to undergo mandatory medical qualification: vaccinations & blood sampling
7. Basic IT skills (MS Office)
8. Very good German skills, basic English skills
