A large international group is seeking a senior leader to head its global Insurance & Risk Management function. Reporting to a Group Executive, this role is responsible for defining and executing the organisation's worldwide insurance and risk transfer strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and design global insurance programmes
* Develop and implement risk transfer solutions, including captive-related structures
* Manage relationships with brokers, insurers, and external risk partners
* Advise senior leadership on risk mitigation and resilience strategy
* Oversee global insurance renewals, policy structures, and claims management
* Optimise total cost of risk and manage the insurance budget
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Security, and Operations
* Lead and develop a small specialist team
Profile
* 15+ years' experience in corporate insurance and risk management
* Proven leadership and people management experience
* Strong expertise in global insurance programmes and risk transfer
* Experience with captives strongly preferred
* Strategic, analytical, and commercially minded
