Job Description As an Associate-Director in the FX & DA Trading department, you will be in charge of the eFX Spot team. Reporting directly to the Head Spot Vice-Director, you will supervise the operational activities and manage people in accordance with your senior management. Key responsibilities Team Management: Leading and supporting the eFX Spot team: Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization. Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members. Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities. Hiring: Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles. Performance Management: Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues. Conducting under performance process with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner. Operational duties: Own the realized risk and PnL Ensure successful and compliant operations Monitor orders, trades, overall market conditions, news flow, real-time risk and PnL Fine-tune price construction, execution and risk management production systems Monitor the overall client activity and ensure flow quality, as well as smooth client trading experience Maintain a gainful network of hedging counterparties and market venues Analyze results, identify and drive improvements Data analysis: Use internal analytical tools and your own quantitative capabilities to draw data-driven conclusions, suggest actions, deliver reporting Documentation: maintain up-to-date operational procedures and ensure compliance Collaborating: Be a reference point for Sales, Software Engineers, IT colleagues and other internal teams Project Management: Contribute to product development and infrastructure improvements Monitoring: team’s capacity allocation
