We are seeking a Legal Counsel for a multinational bank in Switzerland. The successful candidate will provide employment legal advice, manage employment litigation, and support the global legal team on a range of issues.
Key tasks/responsibilities:
1. Provide employment legal advice and manage employment litigation cases
2. Develop a constructive working relationship with different business divisions and legal team members in other countries
3. Exert thought leadership and proactively manage employment legal risk
4. Interact with outside counsels on legal matters
5. Keep abreast of relevant industry developments
Experience & Qualifications:
6. Lawyer with at least 5 years' experience; proven experience in managing employment legal issues within Switzerland is essential for this role
7. Capability to assess and advise on complex employment issues
8. Fluent in German and English - written and verbal
9. Excellent drafting skills, communication skills, and attention to detail
10. Highly organized, efficient, and hard-working with the ability to drive projects and deliver against set timelines
