Prepare cross-project planning; manage risks and opportunities
Responsibilities Involving Social Interaction Initiate and prioritize projects within programs in collaboration with responsible business units, considering applicable strategies and frameworks; prepare and drive necessary decisions by stakeholders
Ensure program-wide project marketing, communication, quality, and knowledge management
Create or update projects and programs so that changes and their impacts are immediately visible and appropriate actions can be taken; promptly inform all involved parties and management about decisions and measures
Define standards and guidelines; evaluate and implement suitable methods and tools; enforce adherence to standards, guidelines, and appropriate use of methods and tools across the program
Define the format and frequency of project information for effective program management
Ensure that the required information meets quality and timeline requirements and is available in the defined scope; request corrections from suppliers (project managers) if necessary
Analyze validated project information; identify and document interdependencies and overlaps of resources (costs, personnel, system boundaries)
Ensure personnel development and coaching in project management
Prepare reports and decision-making materials for management
Requirements Certified according to IPMA, PMP, or similar at the corresponding level, and as SAFe Scrum Master or higher
At least two proven assignments (references) in this role in classical or SAFe-managed projects of at least 3 months
At least three years of professional experience as Senior ICT Program Manager
Strong understanding of business processes and ICT-driven business transformation
Extensive project and program management experience
HERMES knowledge mandatory, with experience in complex, long-term projects/programs
Education University degree
Work Location Sites of the Administration of the Canton of Bern, municipalities, and other public institutions within the canton
Language Skills German C1
