Inthisrole,youwillplayakey part inensuringaccuratefinancialrecords,smoothaccountingprocessesand reliablereconciliationsacrossouroperations. Youwillworkindependentlyondailyaccountingtaskswhilealsocontributingto processimprovementsandsupportingmonth-end andyear-endclosings.
This positionisidealforsomeonewhoenjoyshands-onaccounting, has astrongsenseofresponsibility, andismotivatedbyworkingin adynamic, internationaleducationenvironment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing bookkeeping interfaces and accounting processes
* Handling daily administrative and accounting tasks
* Maintaining and reviewing account reconciliations
* Performing weekly reconciliations of point-of-sale transactions
* Monitoring and reconciling petty cash transactions
* Following up on data based developments and supporting process improvements
* Identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues proactively
* Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
* Ensuring accurate and up-to-date accounting documentation
* Performing any other duties as assigned
Your profile:
* EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
* CFC Employé(e) de Commerce or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar accounting position
* Good understanding of accounting principles and financial software
* Experience with Abacus ERP is an asset.
* Strong analytical, logical and IT skills
* Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
* Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken
* Highly organized, accurate and reliable
* Proactive, flexible and solution-oriented
* Able to work independently and manage several priorities with professionalism
