Corporate Compliance Lawyer
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Compliance Lawyer to join our team.
About the Role:
This is a senior-level position that will be responsible for providing corporate legal support globally, with a particular focus on EMEA. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for entity management, corporate restructurings and intercompany agreements, treasury, and accounting.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing corporate legal support globally, with particular focus in EMEA, including for the following areas: entity management, corporate restructurings and intercompany agreements, treasury, and accounting.
* Coordinating and aligning with the Global Corporate Specialty team to ensure a consistent and appropriate approach to all of these areas of law.
* SUPPORTING APTIV'S COMPLIANCE GOALS OF ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS AND REGULATIONS AND SUPPORTING A SPEAK-UP CULTURE.
* ADVISING ON DIVERSE COMPLIANCE TOPICS AND POLICIES, SUCH AS CONFLICTS OF INTEREST, ANTI-BRIBERY LAWS, FAIR COMPETITION AND WHISTLEBLOWING.
* CODERATING WITH THE GLOBAL COMPLIANCE TEAM ON COMPLIANCE INITIATIVES.
* ADVISING KEY STAKEHOLDERS ON CONTRACTING WITH CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS AND OTHER THIRD PARTIES, INCLUDING DRAFTING, REVIEW AND ANALYSIS OF CONTRACTUAL TERMS.
* DEVELOPING STRATEGIES FOR CONTRACTING WITH CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS AND OTHER THIRD PARTIES THAT MAXIMIZE CONTRACTUAL BENEFITS AND MINIMIZE RISK.
* ADVISING AND COLLABORATING WITH BUSINESS TEAMS AND OTHER SUPPORT FUNCTIONS ON A WIDE RANGE OF LEGAL ISSUES, INCLUDING LITIGATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION, EMPLOYMENT, REAL ESTATE AND CORPORATE.
* ANALYZING AND RESOLVING DISPUTES WITH SUPPLIERS AND OTHER THIRD PARTIES.
Your Background:
1. 5+ years post qualification experience (PQE).
2. Experience in law firm or multinational company.
3. Qualified to practice as an attorney in Switzerland.
4. EXPERIENCE AS AN ATTORNEY ADVISING MULTINATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS ON COMPLEX GLOBAL MATTERS AND TRANSACTIONS.
5. SOPHISTICATED LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE.
6. EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A CORPORATE LEGAL ENVIRONMENT WITH INCREASING LEVELS OF RESPONSIBILITY PREFERRED.
7. ABILITY TO HANDLE A VARIETY OF COMPLEX LEGAL MATTERS AND IDENTIFY, ANTICIPATE, AND DEVELOP SOLUTIONS-ORIENTED STRATEGIES THAT MITIGATE LEGAL RISKS, WHILE ACHIEVING COMMERCIAL OBJECTIVES.
8. ABILITY TO WORK WELL INDEPENDENTLY AND LEAD ON PROJECTS AS PART OF A GLOBAL TEAM THAT MANAGES INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS AND PROJECTS IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT.
9. EXPERIENCE WORKING ON MATTERS INVOLVING
