To support our continued growth and scientific leadership, we are seeking a Head of Medical Affairs to join our headquarters in Geneva and lead our global Medical Affairs function. Reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer, you will shape and execute OM Pharma’s Medical Affairs strategy, elevate our global scientific engagement, and inspire a high performing team in a dynamic and agile environment.
Your Main Responsibilities Are As Follows
Lead, mentor, and develop the Medical Affairs team to drive excellence and engagement
Define and drive implementation of the global Medical Affairs strategic plan in collaboration with the regions
Ensure optimization roles and responsibilities across the function to support products throughout their lifecycle
Design and oversee the KOL engagement framework, ensuring structured, effective, and compliant interactions
Build strong relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals in close collaboration with cross functional teams
Oversee medical information processes and ensure high quality scientific deliverables
Provide medical and scientific expertise to support product development, launches, and training initiatives
Develop and deliver impactful internal and external medical education programs
Strengthen and expand partnerships with key healthcare organizations worldwide
Represent Medical Affairs within governance bodies, ensuring a strong medical voice in strategic decisions
Uphold the highest ethical and compliance standards in all Medical Affairs activities.
Monitor therapeutic areas and competitive landscape to anticipate strategic opportunities
Foster a high performance culture within the Medical Affairs team.
Approximately 15% business travel is required.
To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy or related fields (MD, PhD, PharmD, Master).
15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
At least 10 years in Medical Affairs, ideally combining affiliate and global experience.
Demonstrated people management experience, with strong skills in hiring, developing, and leading teams.
Fluency in English (oral and written); French is a strong asset
Proficiency in MS Office tools
