Customer Support Engineer - Molecular spectroscopy and Lab Informatics

We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to work in Switzerland, supporting clients across pharmaceutical, energy, research, environmental, and biomedical sectors. The role involves hands‑on technical support, installation, troubleshooting, and training customers on molecular spectroscopy and lab informatics solutions.
Overview of the Role
Provide hands‑on technical support to customers and colleagues on‑site at laboratories in Switzerland, ensuring smooth operation of equipment and data solutions.
* Install and optimize hardware, software, and network products; perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics; deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
* Guide and train users on preventive maintenance and advanced system features.
* Collaborate with sales to deliver tailored consulting for customer needs.
* Participate in high‑quality training courses to stay current with hardware and software developments.
Qualifications
Academic degree in science or engineering (chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, etc.).
Strong knowledge and experience with analytical techniques and method development (chromatography and molecular spectroscopy). Familiarity with instrument data analysis software and problem‑solving skills for application support and maintenance.
* Strong drive to learn and expand skills; enjoys remote work while engaging with customers on‑site.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; French is a plus.
* Knowledge of network and database infrastructure.
* Strong attention to detail, process orientation, and compliance with quality standards.
