Substitute Bus/Lunch/Recess Monitor

Primary Responsibilities
* Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch.
* Aid in supervising the students on the playground or designated recess area.
* Work both outdoors and in standard school settings.
* Ensure established rules are followed; inform appropriate personnel when rules are broken.
* Oversee orderly dismissal and arrival procedures.
* Assist students with all aspects of lunchtime: food purchases, distribution, disposal, and ensuring hand washing.
* Perform other related tasks as assigned.

* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Problem‑solving skills to handle everyday issues.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
* Maintain confidentiality regarding students per district policies, laws and regulations.
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Meet the physical demands of the job.
Salary: $16.00 an hour
