Job Title: Market Manager
The Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) business area is responsible for the Laboratory Balances and Moisture Analyzer portfolio within METTLER TOLEDO.
We are a market leader in laboratory balances, differentiating ourselves from followers through unique innovations with perceived customer value.
Main markets include the Pharma, Chemical, Food, and Testing Lab industry for R&D, Quality Control, and Scale-up/Pre-production workplaces.
To strengthen our team in Switzerland and ensure steady growth, we seek a communicative, empathetic, and goal-oriented Market Manager (80-100%) for all genders.
Responsibilities:
* You work closely with Market Organizations to implement marketing and sales strategies, developing the LabTec business in assigned regions.
* You organize regular virtual and face-to-face meetings for business reviews and best practice sharing with Market Organizations, jointly developing and executing local growth plans.
* You conduct strategic market assessments and propose recommended actions to address gaps.
* You act as primary contact for LabTec with Market Organizations, winning their mindshare, providing business support, collecting feedback on markets, tools, collateral needs, and sharing news (product launches, new tools, etc.).
* You coordinate and lead collection of regular customer feedback via direct account visits, round tables, and/or from different Market Organizations.
* You plan, coach, and support dealer management in strategic partnerships, contracts, marketing plans, and marketing.
* You prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management and team.
Requirements:
* You have a Bachelor or Master degree in natural science or engineering with at least 5 years of work experience as a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Dealer Manager, or other sales-related function. Experience in LifeScience or BioPharma segments is a plus.
* You are a networker with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across different teams with various cultural backgrounds. With your leadership skills, you can motivate people in a matrix organization to get things done.
* You have a good sense for business opportunities as well as an entrepreneurial attitude combined with excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German language skills are a plus.
* You are willing to travel globally around 20-30%.
