Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and evolving Java-based platforms that support core business processes. Depending on your background and strengths, your day-to-day responsibilities will lean more towards either:
* Architecture and performance optimization
, with a focus on transversal engineering initiatives, or
* Operational support and CRM-related enhancements
, with direct collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Both paths are equally important to the team's success and require strong technical grounding, initiative, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and support Java applications using
Java 13+, Spring, Spring Boot
* Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
* Monitor and improve application performance using tools such as
Grafana
and
Kibana
* Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability across environments
* Investigate and resolve incidents as part of Level 3 support, where applicable
* Collaborate with developers, architects, infrastructure, and support teams
* Engage in either:
* Architectural reviews, system tuning, and performance investigations
* Or: Operational support for CRM systems, including front-end and database layers
Required Qualifications
* Strong experience with Java (version 13 or later), Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps toolchains
* Solid understanding of application security and secure coding practices
* Experience with cloud infrastructure (
AWS preferred
)
* Familiarity with
Kubernetes
and modern observability tools (Grafana, Kibana)
* Strong communication and analytical skills
Additional Experience (Depending on Focus Area)
For Architecture & Performance Focus:
* Experience with performance tuning and reverse proxy configurations
* Exposure to cross-system architecture and transversal engineering topics
* Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell)
For Operational & CRM Focus:
* Experience with incident handling, root cause analysis, and production support
* Familiarity with
Angular
(modern and AngularJS) for front-end support
* Knowledge of
PL/SQL
and Oracle stored procedures
* Strong stakeholder communication and service-oriented mindset
