Ph3Job Overview /h3pDePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, Commercial Capabilities. The role is located in Leeds, United Kingdom; Diegem, Belgium; or Zuchwil, Switzerland. This position is part of the Finance Tax organization and focuses on building finance‑led commercial capabilities to drive profitable growth, value realization, pricing discipline, and compliant execution across global markets. The Sr. Manager will serve as a strategic partner to Finance, Tax, Commercial, and Strategy leaders, translating complex financial, tax, and commercial requirements into scalable frameworks, processes, and insights. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead the development and execution of finance‑owned commercial capability frameworks, ensuring alignment with enterprise financial, tax, and governance models. /liliPartner with Finance, Tax, Commercial, and Strategy teams to embed financial rigor, pricing discipline, and value realization into commercial decision‑making. /liliDesign and implement capabilities across areas such as pricing governance, margin management, commercial investment effectiveness, and tax‑aware commercial structures. /liliTranslate financial and tax requirements into practical tools, guidance, and operating models that support regional and market execution. /liliEstablish standardized metrics, dashboards, and governance routines to monitor commercial performance, financial outcomes, and compliance. /liliSupport cross‑functional initiatives related to business transformation, operating model changes, and separation readiness impacting commercial finance and tax processes. /liliLead and develop team members and matrixed project resources, fostering strong financial acumen, accountability, and continuous improvement. /liliEnsure all activities align with Johnson Johnson’s Credo, internal controls, tax regulations, and financial compliance standards. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pbEducation: /b Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. MBA, Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Tax preferred. /ppbExperience Skills: /b 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, commercial finance, pricing, tax, commercial strategy, or commercial operations roles. Proven experience operating within a finance‑led commercial or pricing governance model in a complex, matrixed organization. Strong understanding of commercial financial drivers including margin, pricing, incentives, and investment effectiveness. Demonstrated ability to translate financial and tax requirements into scalable commercial processes and tools. Experience partnering with senior leaders across Finance, Tax, and Commercial functions. /ppbPreferred: /b Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to drive alignment without direct authority. Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries. Exposure to global pricing, transfer pricing, or tax‑sensitive commercial models. Experience supporting business separations, transformations, or operating model redesigns. Familiarity with financial planning systems, pricing tools, and performance management platforms.
