Join our global R&D team as a Principal Engineer in Power Electronics, where you'll lead the development of next-generation frequency converters for elevators—driving innovation, efficiency, and compliance in a global R&D environment. Your impact Define system concepts and feasibility for cutting-edge elevator drives
Develop specs, design rules, and ensure accurate power selection
Lead control strategies for motors and power line interfaces to optimize ride quality
Secure compliance with global standards and manage design risks
Collaborate with cross-functional experts to push technical boundaries

What you bring
Degree in Electronic Engineering with focus on Power Electronics /Machine Control theory
Extensive experience in power electronics development, ideally in a highly regulated industry
Expertise in three-phase machine control, thermal design & lifetime calculation
Strong understanding of thermal design and lifetime calculation for frequency converters
Familiarity with frequency converter-related standards and codes
Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink for system simulation
Fluency in English, German is a plus
