Key Role: Data Analyst
In the capacity of a Data Analyst, you will collaborate with our team to design and execute advanced statistical modeling initiatives. Hilti possesses an extensive wealth of external and internal data which we utilize to enhance our customer relationships as well as develop innovative tools and services based on tool data.
Job Responsibilities:
* Design experiments, test hypotheses, develop, and program models using your strong programming skills in R and Python.
* Work within agile, iterative processes conducting advanced data analysis and implementing complex statistical algorithms.
* Develop experimental design approaches to validate findings or test hypotheses.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Masters degree in quantitative field (mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science or related field) with excellent academic track record. PhD is advantageous.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and Spark for efficient collaboration with our data engineers.
* Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing, optimization algorithms, machine learning algorithms, and generative AI prompt engineering/knowledge retrieval.
* Ability to develop solutions to loosely defined business problems by leveraging pattern detection over large datasets.
