Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain complex numerical models of aircraft systems to support design and simulation activities
* Collaborate with Systems Engineers to ensure seamless integration of model-driven processes (Model-Based System Engineering and Model-Based Design) for airborne software generation
* Support systems and software architects in defining system architectures, component sizing, and requirements validation within the New Projects department
* Write and review system requirement documents and certification engineering reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or System Engineering
* Strong background in plant modeling and simulation using graphical programming environments such as Simulink, LabVIEW, or SCADE
* Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, version control systems like Git, and DevOps practices
* Familiarity with CI/CD process automation tools like Jenkins
* Experience in designing and developing system control laws and embedded controllers is an asset
* Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German is a plus
* Able to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, both internal and external
