Currently we are seeking an experienced Deputy Plant Financial Controller to drive continuous profitability improvement of our Murten plant in Switzerland and to support Oracle implementation. This opportunity is initially available on a one-year fixed-term contract with the option of an open-end contract.
Your responsibilities will be to:
1. Participate in month-end closings and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for the site
2. Understand and present monthly manufacturing variances in a manner which drives performance improvements
3. Support budgeting and financial controlling related activities
4. Ensure that inventory management and standard costing objectives are met
5. Manage financial aspects of site CAPEX and monthly tracking of cash-flows
6. Act as a finance business partner for the site’s development programs
7. Prepare financial reports for business reviews
8. Maintain close collaboration with BU Controllers, regional FP&A Team and other key stakeholders
9. Provide leadership in reporting automation initiatives
Our requirements:
10. University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
11. Ideally 2-3 years’ of related experience in a Financial Controller role in manufacturing business environment
12. Fluent English language skills
13. Knowledge of French language is greatly valued
14. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
15. Advanced communication and presentation skills
16. Prior experience with Oracle would be an advantage
