Are you a talented Process/Project Engineer with a strong background in Life Science processing and a deep passion for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Stabio – Switzerland, be part of innovative projects and make a significant impact in the industry.
What will you be doing in this role?
As a Junior Process/Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing engineering activities in ongoing projects, ensuring that all tasks are executed smoothly and efficiently.
You will be involved in:
* Developing and editing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and other process documentation for clean utilities and biotech processing.
* Creating and updating User Requirement Specifications (URS) for various equipment and processes, as well as designing Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems to meet project requirements.
* Editing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) civil layouts, including material and personnel flow diagrams, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Managing supplier quotations and maintaining effective communication with vendors.
* Preparing project budgets and managing financial aspects.
* Preparing and editing technical reports, presentations and project documentation, providing comprehensive information to stakeholders.
* Generating and editing project reports will be crucial to keep all parties informed about the progress and status of ongoing projects.
Skills that you'll bring to Ellab
* Master’s Degree or PhD in Chemical or Mechanical Engineer.
* 1-3 years of experience in process design in pharmaceutical, biotech/biopharma industry.
* Good GMP and ISPE understanding.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2D.
* Structured, well-organised working attitude and solution-oriented working style.
* Analytical and methodical thinking, with a proactive approach and openness to feedback.
* Target oriented approach (time/deliverables).
* Ability to interface with client and vendor representatives.
* Team-oriented.
