International industrial group seeking a senior interim finance leader to strengthen manufacturing financial steering across multiple sites.
Strong expertise required in manufacturing finance, standard costing, COGS transparency, and operational FP&A.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as the primary finance counterpart to senior operations leadership
* Provide clear visibility on manufacturing performance and cost drivers
* Support decision‑making related to efficiency, productivity, and margin optimization
* Review and strengthen standard costing methodologies
* Ensure consistency in cost allocation logic across production entities
* Analyze material usage, labor absorption, overhead allocation, and variances
* Drive improvements in product cost simulations and scenario modelling
* Deliver structured monthly insights on manufacturing results versus plan
* Provide actionable variance analysis with clear root‑cause identification
* Develop meaningful KPIs to track operational performance
* Lead forecasting cycles for the manufacturing function
* Support operational CAPEX planning and financial tracking
* Ensure alignment between operational targets and financial outlook
* Harmonize costing and reporting practices across sites
* Strengthen collaboration between finance and operations teams
* Improve data reliability and reporting structures within SAP/BI systems
Candidate Profile
* A senior finance professional who can operate independently and deliver impact from day one
* 15+ years of experience in finance, with substantial exposure to manufacturing environments
* Strong background in product costing, plant controlling, or operations finance
* Deep understanding of standard costing, cost structures, and production economics
* Experience in multi‑site or international industrial organizations
* Advanced SAP knowledge (S/4HANA preferred) and strong BI affinity
* Proven ability to partner with senior operational stakeholders
* Hands‑on, pragmatic, and execution‑oriented
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
