Overview
Our People Advisory Services (PAS) business focuses on people management and aims to help our clients get it right in all its facets. PAS has three key pillars: Transformation (Workforce Advisory), Integrated Mobility (mobile talent and workforce enablement), and Transactions (Reward and HR M&A). In Reward, we help clients manage complex challenges in executive/board rewards, fringe benefits, regulatory compliance, broad‑based equity programs, grading, performance management, and related topics.
As a (Senior) Consultant in the Rewards team, you will enjoy a diverse and fulfilling career. Your Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning and implementation of consulting projects in the area of remuneration for companies from various industries under the guidance of project managers.
* Execute all tasks within the scope of individual customer projects: project management, conducting analyses, developing recommendations, preparing client presentations, and creating concepts.
* Assist in designing and developing remuneration systems including function evaluations, function profiles, benchmarking, salary bands, and salary regulations.
* Contribute to preparing offers for new customers or existing customers across several market segments.
* Maintain and update the EY salary database.
* Collaborate in implementing equal‑pay analyses.
* Review documents and reports.
* Manage and maintain client relationships in partnership with key project leaders.
* Work collaboratively with workforce advisory colleagues, other service lines, and global EY teams.
What We Look For
To qualify for the role, you must have
* University degree in Economics/Finance with a sound understanding of reward topics.
* First experiences in corporate HR, Compensation & Benefits, and/or consulting.
* Qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills and the ability to create appropriate presentations for various stakeholders.
* Strong written and verbal German and English communication skills and experience producing high‑caliber reports, papers, and presentations.
Ideally, you’ll also have
* Experience working on people matters such as key employee retention, compensation, and benefits programs.
* Experience in people consulting, including conducting remuneration surveys and managing a company’s remuneration offering.
* Knowledge of market trends in rewards and key drivers.
* Experience supporting projects/workstreams.
* A team‑player mentality with the ability to quickly integrate into new teams.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions.
* Pragmatic adaptability, the ability to handle ambiguity, and effective conflict resolution skills.
