Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Owner to serve as the central point of accountability for multiple mechanical equipment packages on our pharmaceutical construction project in Switzerland. This role manages the lifecycle of mechanical systems from design through commissioning.
Responsibilities
1. Serve as single point of accountability for mechanical equipment packages (HVAC, process utilities, clean utilities)
2. Coordinate FAT, SAT and CQV processes
3. Report to Project Manager with updates on risks, issues, and milestones
4. Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies
5. Ensure GMP compliance and pharmaceutical industry standards adherence
Qualifications
6. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
7. 5-7 years project management experience in pharmaceutical/biotech construction
8. Proven GMP facility design and construction experience
9. Experience managing high value mechanical equipment packages
10. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical HVAC systems and clean utilities
11. Understanding of regulatory requirements inlcuing EU GMP
12. Experience with commissioning and validation protocols
13. Fluency in German/French advantageous
