Job Description: Material Flow System (MFS) Engineer
As a Material Flow System (MFS) Engineer, you will be involved in various investment projects. The position is advertised as a full-time role for the entire project duration—expected to last approximately 3 years (80% part-time possible). You will work on installing new packaging and assembly lines at the Kaiseraugst site, managing logistics, supply, and disposal for these lines, and integrating them into the existing material flow infrastructure.
The role also includes planning, consulting, documentation, implementation, and commissioning tasks related to the new warehouse and cold storage facility, which will store consumables and finished goods. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating closely with Roche colleagues.
Your Responsibilities:
* Create, review, and approve project, plant, qualification, and HSE documentation.
* Ensure work packages are delivered according to state-of-the-art standards, legal, HSE, and GMP regulations.
* Transition systems from project phase into routine operations and handover to operations or technical support.
Must-Haves:
* Technical degree from a university or technical college, ideally in logistics or material flow systems, or equivalent training.
* At least 3 years of experience designing logistic and material flow systems.
* Deep knowledge of technical equipment in logistics, warehouse, and material flow.
* Understanding of GMP requirements or willingness to learn.
* Strong sense of responsibility, independence, initiative, and integrity.
* Flexibility, quick learning, and adaptability to project needs.
* Goal-oriented, innovative, and open to new ideas.
* Comfortable working in an agile, self-organized environment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact across all levels.
* Fluent in German (written and spoken); English skills are a plus.
