Your Role
* You lead the System and Verification Engineering team as a disciplinary manager in a matrix organization
* You ensure the availability of the necessary expertise in system and verification engineering
* You take on technical leadership in areas such as specification engineering, architecture, and concept development
* You are responsible for the design of control systems as well as the planning and execution of tests
* You manage technical suppliers and contractors and serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders
* You ensure adequate overall performance and quality of tasks assigned by projects
* You conduct cost and effort estimations to support project planning
* You review the work and deliverables of the team and further develop the necessary competencies within the team
* You promote initiatives, innovations, and continuous improvements in terms of know-how, tools, and methods
* You contribute to transnational resource planning within the matrix organization and support the development of a skill matrix for all team members
Your Profile
* master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
* at least 3 years of experience in disciplinary team leadership
* at least 5 years of experience with proven expertise and track record in complex mechanical design or system engineering (mechatronic systems, high precision motion, space mechanisms)
* knowledge of relevant system engineering methodology, verification equipment, and control architecture
* ability to motivate employees and establish an effective team; experienced in communication and collaboration between departments and external service providers
* fluent English skills (at least C1) and solid German language skills (at least B2)
