Your work will directly shape the trajectory of our platform, therapeutic pipeline, and intellectual property strategy. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
What You Will Do
Establish and maintain sophisticated CNS-relevant in vitro models, including neuronal 2D and 3D culture systems, human iPSC-derived neuronal models, and primary human and rodent neuronal cultures
Implement neuronal differentiation and disease-modeling protocols to support our therapeutic development programs
Execute critical laboratory assays including RNA/DNA isolation, purification, and sequencing preparation for single-cell RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and qPCR analyses
Characterize cellular disease phenotypes and pathway mechanisms using advanced biochemical and imaging techniques
Perform Western blots, ELISA assays, molecular cloning, and therapeutic construct engineering
Develop and implement standardized laboratory workflows and procedures, maintain comprehensive experimental documentation
Take a hands-on role in building laboratory infrastructure, including inventory management, equipment set-up, and laboratory management systems
Collaborate with internal and external advisors to validate scientific results and refine therapeutic approaches
What We Are Looking For
BSc/MSc in molecular biology, neuroscience, biochemistry, or a related field. Exceptionally motivated wet lab technicians without an advanced university degree will also be considered
3-5 years of hands-on tissue-culture work in academia, biotech, or pharma. Proven expertise in lentiviral, AAV, or LNP delivery will be considered as a strong plus
Demonstrated proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including RNA/DNA isolation, Western blotting, RNA‑seq workflows, and cloning/molecular‑construct design
Excellent documentation practice, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Self‑motivated, able to thrive both solo and within a team, and always bringing a "I will figure it out" attitude to every challenge
Swiss citizenship or unrestricted authorization to work in Switzerland (no sponsorship required)
What We Offer
