The team consists of 11 international colleagues, responsible for 120 employees in Switzerland, 150 in Germany, and 230 across 23 international offices.
As a Senior IT Administrator, you will oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system performance and security. Your responsibilities include managing operating systems, providing technical support, leading IT projects, enhancing cybersecurity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align IT operations with business goals. This role is suited for a proactive professional passionate about technology and problem-solving.
Your key responsibilities
* IT Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.
* System Administration: Manage and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware. Oversee installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
* Security and Compliance: Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to safeguard data and systems. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
* User Support: Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT issues promptly. Conduct training to enhance employee technical skills and awareness.
* Project Management: Lead IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.
Your profile
* Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field (federal certificate, bachelor’s, or master’s).
* Passion for hardware components.
* Practical experience with Microsoft client and server products.
* Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, Firewall, DNS).
* Strong knowledge of operating systems.
* Background in server maintenance.
* Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
