Upscale is a leading Zurich-based interior design company blending editorial storytelling, original product design, and high-end e-commerce. We’re launching a curated line of sculptural lighting, small furniture, and accessories — designed in Switzerland and made in Europe — targeting a cultured, design-conscious audience.
To build and grow our Shopify Plus e-commerce platform, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled E-Commerce Manager (f / m / d) with an eye for detail, a feel for digital aesthetics, and the technical skills to drive a high-end launch.
Set up, manage, and optimize the new Upscale Shopify Plus shop
Upload and maintain product data : titles, descriptions, pricing, visuals, SEO metadata
Define and organize collections and navigation structure
Integrate editorial content into the shop : “Shop the Story” modules and thematic campaigns
Lead the digital product launch, including coordination of email campaigns, paid ads, and influencer outreach
Monitor analytics and UX flows, continuously improve conversion and engagement
Coordinate backend logistics and fulfillment workflows, including inventory, shipping partners, freight forwarding, and returns processes
Qualifikation
* 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, ideally in a premium, lifestyle, or design environment
* Strong knowledge of Shopify or Shopify Plus and product merchandising
* Familiar with UX flows, conversion funnels, and content-driven commerce, working together with our experts
* Experience in coordinating logistics, fulfillment, and shipping providers is highly desirable
* Passion for interior design, visual storytelling, and brand aesthetics
* Language : Fluent English required, German or French a plus
* A key role in shaping a new design brand from the ground up
* Direct collaboration with the founders, creative director (or owning this role as well), and European producers
