The Pictet Tech division specialises in designing and integrating cutting-edge software applications, including advanced portfolio management systems, sophisticated trading platforms and comprehensive banking and corporate solutions. As a key contributor to the Group’s strategic advancements, the Pictet Tech division plays a vital role in driving transformative innovations that enhance our services and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
You will be part of the Finance team within the Pictet Tech division. The team plays a pivotal role in the financial steering of the division, by providing timely, relevant financial data and reports in aligning financial strategies with business objectives and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
Your role
As a member of the Finance team, you will carry out financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting, to provide insightful advice to management. You will also participate in various projects aimed to deliver continuous improvement and financial value.
1. Ensuring timely delivery of monthly financial results to the Pictet Tech Executive Board and business partners; providing benchmarking and business metrics, and supporting in-depth analysis to build understanding of the Pictet Tech division’s cost drivers.
2. Contributing to the monthly financial results monitoring of Pictet Tech legal entities, as well as preparing financial statements and board pack documentation.
3. Contributing meaningfully to the Group’s budgeting and forecasting processes, including business/financial modelling, multi-year plans, variance analysis and performance reviews.
4. Developing a deep understanding of Pictet Tech’s costs allocation mechanisms to business lines and legal entities.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect financial data, build analysis and support decision-making.
6. Conducting specific financial and strategic analysis to identify trends, business/costs drivers and opportunities for improvement.
7. Driving projects in relation to tech operational efficiencies; helping to improve the Finance team’s day-to-day processes and tools.
Your profile
8. Master’s degree in Finance (or equivalent) and relevant subject certifications.
9. Proven experience in audit; financial strategy and planning, cost allocation methodology experience are a plus.
10. Strong expertise in data analysis and financial reporting; proficiency with presentation tools (Excel, Tableau, MicroStrategy and PowerPoint).
11. Rigorous, well organized, strong analytical and technical skills.
12. Sense of urgency, problem-solving skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
13. Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
14. Fluency in French and English (both written and oral).
15. Must be resident in Switzerland.
