Albinati Aeronautics, a well-established Geneva-based business aviation company holding two AOCs (Swiss and Maltese), active in aircraft management, private jet charter, and sales & acquisitions of business jets with a diverse fleet of aircraft, is recruiting. To strengthen our IT Department, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Deputy IT Manager (40%) to support the reliability, growth, and security of our information systems.
Job description
1. Assist the IT Manager in the day-to-day management and strategic oversight of the company’s IT infrastructure.
2. Provide first- and second-level technical support to end-users.
3. Participate in the administration and operational maintenance of systems (servers, networks, security, backups).
4. Contribute to the implementation of cybersecurity and compliance policies.
5. Liaise with external IT providers and vendors to ensure service quality and continuity.
Candidate’s profile and prerequisites
6. Higher education in Information Technology (CFC, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
7. Proven experience in user support and IT infrastructure management.
8. Knowledge of virtualized environments (VMware), networks (Cisco, Fortinet), and backup solutions (Veeam).
9. Awareness of cybersecurity and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, EASA Part-IS is an asset).
10. Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
11. Fluency in French and good command of English.
