Job Description
We develop solutions for cardiovascular health, focusing on heart recovery, electrophysiology, and stroke. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will provide expert clinical, technical support, and product assistance during electrophysiology procedures, mainly in the West of Switzerland, supporting the use of Biosense Webster’s systems and catheter equipment.
Objectives of the Position
* Provide support during electrophysiology interventions for systems like CARTO 3 and other BWI technologies.
* Collaborate with sales teams to seek opportunities and drive business within the territory.
* Support business goals and assist customers using consultative selling techniques.
* Ensure servicing, maintenance, and upgrades of systems and software.
* Create awareness of BWI solutions and facilitate contacts with key decision-makers.
* Engage with multiple business partners to develop solutions.
* Improve customer support capabilities through effective planning and communication.
* Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital staff.
* Stay current on product instructions, methodologies, troubleshooting, and scientific literature.
* Respond to requests promptly and professionally, maintaining composure under pressure.
* Train new team members and handle administrative tasks like CRM updates, documentation, and compliance.
Qualifications
* Educational background in (bio)engineering or experience as an Electrophysiology nurse.
* 1-3 years in medical devices, preferably cardiology.
* Experience in introducing new technology and working with key opinion leaders is advantageous.
* Service-oriented, independent, responsible, and open to travel.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
* Fluent in English; French, German, and Italian are advantageous.
* Valid Swiss residence and work permit; valid driver’s license (Code B).
Success Factors
The ideal candidate will anticipate customer needs, troubleshoot effectively, and remain calm under pressure. They should be based in the Lausanne area.
