Accountant 80-100%

Introduction

A leading wine-growing player in Geneva, owner notably of the Baccarat and La Clémence brands, La Cave de Genève vinifies and markets a quarter of the canton’s vineyard production. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and meticulous Accountant (80-100%).

Responsibilities

- Entry and monitoring of accounting entries (general, clients, suppliers).
- VAT returns
- Management of payments and receipts.
- Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual closings.
- Harvest: administrative support to the oenologist for harvest preparation.
- Supervision of our apprentice

Qualifications

- Degree in accounting or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in a similar position, ideally in Switzerland.
- Good command of IT tools (MS Office) and ease in using an ERP.
- Knowledge of Swiss accounting standards (Swiss GAAP RPC, CO).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Rigour, organisation and sense of priorities.
