A leading proprietary trading house is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Curve Power Trader to join its growing trading team based in Switzerland. This is an exciting opportunity for an established power futures trader to play a key role in a high-performing, entrepreneurial environment.
The firm is looking to expand its proprietary trading presence in European power markets and is interested in speaking with both:
* Pure proprietary power futures traders
* Cross-commodity traders with a strong power-centric background

Key Responsibilities
* Lead trading activity across European power curve markets
* Opportunity to trade power, natural gas, emissions, coal
* Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies with a focus on futures
* Identify and monetise opportunities across power and related cross-commodity products
* Manage risk effectively in line with the firm’s trading framework
* Collaborate with fellow traders and share market intelligence to strengthen the team’s performance
Requirements
* Minimum 4+ years’ experience trading European power curve futures in a proprietary environment
* Market expertise on Nordics, CEE, SEE markets is a preference, CWE market expertise is also suitable
* Proven track record of consistent PnL delivery
* Strong knowledge of European power markets, with additional exposure to gas, emissions, or other commodities desirable
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently within a collaborative team structure
* Excellent risk management skills and a disciplined trading approach
