Job Description
Location: Zug, Switzerland; Leiden, Netherlands; Beerse, Belgium; Prague, Czechia; Cork, Ireland
Contract: Full-time, permanent
As part of the Innovative Medicine Risk & Advisory team, your mission will be to apply your financial risk & compliance expertise to support the organization in its portfolio of key projects and transformation initiatives.
Most projects will relate to SAP S4 Hana implementations, and previous experience in similar projects from a financial compliance standpoint will be advantageous.
You will act as a strategic business partner, serving as the center of excellence for internal controls and risk inquiries. You will understand the risks each project creates and build appropriate control frameworks to mitigate those risks.
You will also develop a strategic compliance business adoption plan to ensure future digital and financial projects are led with strong controls and compliance metrics.
Responsibilities & Impact
Transformation Support
* Provide expert guidance during digital and process transformation initiatives.
* Identify operational and financial risks proactively and propose controls to mitigate gaps.
* Recommend improvements to accounting and operational procedures and controls.
* Develop frameworks for supervising and reporting on transformation effectiveness.
Project Leadership
* Lead critical compliance projects from planning to evaluation.
* Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
* Collaborate across teams to meet project goals and ensure compliance with laws and standards.
* Build strong relationships with management and stakeholders.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance awareness.
Candidate Profile
* Recognized accounting qualification (CPA, CIA) or willing to acquire.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance.
* Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience.
* At least 3 years in internal control or SOX compliance.
* Experience with internal controls and stakeholder communication.
* Experience with SAP S4 Hana transformations from a financial compliance perspective.
Skills & Attributes
* Proficiency in English and another European language.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of JDE systems preferred.
* Strong finance/business acumen, strategic thinking, project management, and accounting skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, especially in virtual environments.
* Proactive, analytical, process-oriented, with a positive attitude and values aligned with J&J's Credo.
