The Montefiore Medical Group - School Health Program provides high- quality medical, mental health, dental, and community health services at 31 school-based health centers in the Bronx.
Position Overview
Our program is currently recruiting for a licensed psychologist (PhD/PsyD) to serve at one of our ambulatory school health sites. This is a full-time (10 month) position.
Clinical responsibilities include mental health referral review/assignment, clinical intakes, individual and group therapy, parent/collateral work, and teacher consultation.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess a N.Y.S. license and completion of APA accredited training. Psychology candidates should be adept at working in an environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork to enable patient care with a desire to work in a mission-driven environment to make a strong positive community impact. Experience delivering school/parent presentations on mental health issues is desirable.
Positions are full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Competitive salary and benefits package. 2 months off in the summer.
