To strengthen our Industrial Affairs team in Mendrisio (Canton Ticino), we are looking for an Industrial Project Manager to report directly to the Site Director. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Update and manage the technical documentation related to the site, facilities, and machinery.
* Participate in official inspections by regulatory authorities by preparing the required documentation.
* Coordinate structural, plant, and machinery projects from the conceptual phase through to implementation, in collaboration with other departments.
* Conduct supplier scouting, request technical and economic quotations, issue purchase orders, and oversee and verify activities during the execution phase.
* Verify the compliance of facilities and machinery, managing any discrepancies.
* Evaluate and introduce new production technologies aimed at improving process efficiency, energy consumption, and environmental impact.
* In collaboration with the Validation Manager, plan qualification activities related to the installation of new facilities and machinery.
* Analyze utilities consumption.
* Manage relationships with public authorities, consultants, and suppliers.
* Manage OPEX and CAPEX related to the division.
* Manage deviations and change controls within the engineering scope.
* Stay updated on technological and regulatory market developments, including participation in trade fairs and industry events.
Required Skills and Core Competences:
* Technical education in engineering or related disciplines.
* Good knowledge of GMP regulations.
* Proven experience in managing industrial projects with third-party companies.
* Willingness to deepen knowledge of Swiss legislation.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with a collaborative team-oriented attitude.
* Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a high degree of operational autonomy.
* Proficient in English (spoken and written)
* Preference will be given to candidates of Swiss nationality and residents (Permit B - C)
