This Position reports to :
Procurement Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation maintenance and compliance of purchasing and logistics-related activities in the procurement function to support the stores. Each day you will perform assigned activities according to ABBs standard procedures. You will also demonstrate your expertise by conducting and participating in training programs as needed to ensure compliance and promote professional development.

This feature contributes to the overall success of ABB PMA
They are mainly responsible for :
* Independent management of purchasing projects from requirements assessment to supplier selection and negotiation to series delivery
* Co rdinatio n of project purchasing from kick-off to handover to operational purchasing including technical and administrative handling in cooperation with specialist departments
* Implementation of purchasing and logistics strategies with a focus on cost optimization quality assurance and delivery reliability
* Implementation of uniform procurement processes and standards to ensure quality sustainability and efficiency

Qualifications for the role
* Completed technical or commercial training with further training in purchasing (e.g. qualified purchasing manager)
* Several years of experience in the project purchase of technical components in an industrial environment
* Knowledge of strategic purchasing is an advantage
* Very good knowledge of SAP (MM module) and MS Office
* Very good knowledge of German and English both written and spoken
* Assertiveness and a confident appearance
* Analytical networked thinking and experience in process and project management
* Negotiation skills and a solid basic understanding of financial relationships
