YOUR JOB

We are seeking an experienced and driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow relation-ships with our strategic customers in the aviation and aerospace sector. As part of the commercial team at a leading supplier to the aviation industry, the KAM will serve as the primary liaison between our organization and aircraft manufacturer, seat manufacturer, and lessor accounts.
In this role you will:

* Act as the main point of contact for assigned key accounts
* Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders
* Support the sales process for new aircraft programs, modifications, upgrades, and services
* Coordinate pricing, contract negotiations, and RFQ responses in collaboration with internal teams
* Work closely with Engineering, Production, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Support teams
* Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting using CRM tools, to provide regular account updates, performance metrics, and strategic insights to management


YOUR PROFILE

You bring experience in aircraft development programs or delivery teams and strong commercial acumen with a solid background in business administration, pricing strategy and legal contract negotiation. You are a natural salesperson with a customer-first mindset, yet pragmatic and solution-oriented in execution. You have a strong understanding of the aerospace industry, aircraft lifecycle, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills — able to build trust and influence at all levels.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

* A University Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration or a related field is a plus, but not required - we value drive, mindset and results over formal education
* Fluency in English is a must, German basic knowledge
* Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 30%), including internationally
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM (Salesforce) is a bonus
* Analytical thinker with a strategic mindset - able to spot opportunities and act on them
* Energetic, positive, and self-motivated - thrives in dynamic environments and works well independently and as part of a team
