Your main tasks and responsibilities
1. Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of scientists and lab technicians
2. Drive, develop and oversee multiple projects focused on blood plasma products
3. Provide technical expertise and scientific guidance across all stages of product lifecycle
4. Manage and coordinate lab operations and organizational activities
5. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and scientific excellence
6. Prepare and present reports, project updates, and scientific insights to stakeholders
7. Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Manufacturing
8. Contribute to department budget, strategy, structure and resources planning
Your expertise and ideal skill set
9. Completed degree (PhD preferred) in Life Science, Biotechnology, (Bio-) Chemistry, or related field
10. Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with focus on process development
11. Proven leadership skills and strong enthusiasm in leading a team of scientists and technicians
12. Expertise in downstream processing, protein characterization, and/or formulation development
13. Solid understanding of GxP principles, laboratory methodologies, and regulatory processes
14. Extensive scientific background with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
15. Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
16. Proficient in German and English (oral + written)

You can find all offers here: The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 4.686,11 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
