Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a Bioprocess Engineer for a 10 months contract role based in the Valais area, Switzerland.
Bioprocess Engineer – 6762 ASH
Main Responsibilities:
* As a Bioprocess Engineer (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the correct execution of production campaigns in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
* Creation and review of risk analyses and implementation of the resulting measures.
* Ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, troubleshooting problems, troubleshooting production equipment, and proposing solutions.
* Complete documentation of processes and process know-how, as well as complete GMP documentation.
* Continuous improvement opportunities for processes, equipment, and procedures, in collaboration with various project teams such as R&D, to increase process efficiency and the economic use of equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
* Bachelor's/Master's degree (university/technical college) in biotechnology, life sciences, chemical engineering, or a related field.
* Professional experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnological production, preferably in the area of operations.
* English is mandatory and German is nice to have
* Understanding of GMP.
* Strong team and leadership skills, as well as very good communication skills are among your strengths.
* Characterized by cross-functional, structured, and focused work.
* Well organized and open to new ideas and suggestions.
* Experience in operations and knowledge of TrackWise is an advantage
