Sommelia. is a Zurich-based e-commerce company selling curated wines online to customers across Switzerland. We're a small, fast-moving team on a mission to make discovering and buying great wine simple, enjoyable, and free of pretension.
We're looking for a Marketing Lead to own brand for sommelia. — building the marketing engine that brings new customers to our shop and keeps them coming back.
Tasks
* Own and execute sommelia.'s marketing strategy across paid, organic, social, content, and email/CRM channels
* Plan, launch, and optimize paid acquisition campaigns (Meta, Google Ads) to drive traffic, conversions, and sustainable customer growth
* Build and grow our social media presence, including content planning and execution
* Develop and drive our SEO and content strategy to grow organic visibility
* Set up and manage email/CRM lifecycle campaigns (welcome series, abandoned cart, retention, re-engagement)
* Track key marketing metrics (CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, LTV) and use data to continuously improve performance
* Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, promotions, and product launches
* Work closely with the founders on brand positioning, messaging, and overall growth strategy
* Manage relationships with external partners, freelancers, or agencies as needed
Requirements
* Several years of marketing experience in e-commerce — this is a must-have
* Experience marketing wine or other beverage/CPG products is a strong plus; prior experience in wine e-commerce specifically is ideal
* Proven track record running paid acquisition campaigns (Meta/Google Ads) with measurable ROI
* Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with performance data and using it to drive decisions
* Hands-on experience with email/CRM platforms (e.g. Klaviyo) and SEO/content marketing
* Excellent written communication skills; German and/or French is a plus for our Swiss customer base
* Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset — happy to wear multiple hats in a small, fast-moving team
* Based in or willing to flexibly work from Zurich
