Job Description
Punjabi Gastro GmbH is urgently looking for an experienced Indian Chef specialized in curries and tandoor cooking to join our restaurant Punjabi Palace in Sarnen, Switzerland.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable professional with strong experience in authentic North Indian cuisine, capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of authentic Indian curries and tandoor dishes
* Daily kitchen operations and mise en place
* Ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation of all dishes
* Compliance with hygiene and food safety standards
* Efficient teamwork during service hours
Requirements
* Proven professional experience as an Indian Chef (curries & tandoor)
* Several years of experience in Indian restaurants
* Strong knowledge of spices, sauces, and tandoor techniques
* EU/EFTA nationality or valid Swiss work permit (mandatory)
* Ability to work full-time and handle pressure
* Clean, reliable, and professional work ethic
