About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Groups & Events Sales Department in Zurich, the Groups & Events Sales Coordinator provides administrative support to the Groups & Events Sales Team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient coordination.

YOUR TASKS
As Groups & Events Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Manage group and event inquiries via email and phone
* Prepare offers, proposals, contracts, and confirmations
* Maintain and update booking systems with accurate group and event details
* Coordinate internally with sales, operations, and food & beverage teams
* Create and distribute function sheets, event orders, and internal summaries
* Track deadlines, deposits, and payment schedules
* Handle invoicing and billing preparation
* Support the groups and events sales team with administrative tasks
* Planning of internal events
* Prepare reports and summaries for management
* Ensure compliance with company standards and procedure
YOUR PROFILE
As Groups & Events Sales Coordinator, we expect from you:
* Previous experience in Events and Groups Sales is required for this role
* Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment would be an advantage
* Must be excellent in using computer and well versed in all computer applications
* Charming and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills for both external and internal customers
* Ability to work under pressure
* Positive attitude and good communicator
* Excellent knowledge of German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
* Effective time management, communication and presentation skills
* Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
* The successful candidate must already be eligible to work in Switzerland
