The Role
Based in Le Chable, Valais, CH- Hybrid | Full time (100%) | Asap
We’re looking for a commercially‑minded eCommerce leader to drive profitable DTC growth across FSSC's brands by owning eCommerce trading performance, forecasting, digital commercial strategy, and cross‑functional execution.
eCommerce trading and commercial performance
Own the commercial performance of our eCommerce business across brands, markets and seasonal phases
Lead weekly trading reviews, monitor performance against targets and translate insights into clear actions across revenue, conversion, AOV, margin, stock and customer behaviour
Forecasting, planning and reporting
Own seasonal forecasting and in‑season re‑forecasting, turning business targets into practical commercial plans by brand, market and channel
Provide clear, timely and action‑oriented reporting, identifying risks and opportunities early and recommending corrective action
Campaigns, merchandising and trading execution
Own the eCommerce trading calendar, including product launches, promotions, campaign cadence and key trading moments
Define site merchandising priorities and work with the wider team to ensure customer journeys, product visibility and stock availability support commercial objectives
Digital growth direction
Set the commercial direction for paid media, CRM and retention activity in partnership with internal stakeholders and external agencies
Help guide budget allocation, campaign priorities, testing plans and optimisation opportunities across acquisition, conversion and repeat purchase
Platform, agency and roadmap leadership
Own prioritisation of the eCommerce development roadmap based on business impact
Manage external development partners, ensure projects are clearly scoped and delivered, and maintain oversight of platform health in collaboration with Ops and other system stakeholders
Cross‑functional collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, CX and Ops to improve coordination and execution across the full DTC journey - from launch planning and stock availability to customer experience, fulfilment and post‑purchase touchpoints
Own the commercial strategy for our Pro program, ensuring its role, policies and performance expectations support out broader DTC, margin and customer strategy
Team leadership
Lead and prioritise the work of the small eCommerce team, creating clarity on ownership, improving ways of working and building a more proactive, commercially led eCommerce function
Support team development through clear direction, feedback and accountability
We are looking for someone with strong commercial eCommerce judgement and the ability to operate across both strategy and execution.
You should bring:
6+ years of eCommerce experience, ideally in premium consumer goods, outdoor, sporting goods, fashion or another seasonal, margin‑sensitive category
Strong understanding of eCommerce trading, including revenue, conversion, AOV, margin, stock, traffic and promotional performance
Experience owning or materially influencing eComm performance across multiple markets or channels
Strong forecasting, reporting and analytical capability
Experience leading trading calendars, launches, promotions, merchandising priorities and campaign planning
A good understanding of CRM, paid media, retention and customer acquisition, even if you are not a hands‑on channel specialist
Confidence working with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
The ability to brief, prioritise and manage external development or digital partners
Strong cross‑functional leadership skills, especially with Marketing, CX, Operations and external agencies
A proactive, organised and decisive working style
People management experience or clear leadership potential
Fluent written and spoken English
