We are currently seeking a Senior Software Architect to join the SI CTO team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our technical software strategy, including data and IoT architecture. You will bring industry expertise to drive key initiatives and foster a data-driven culture within the organization, ultimately delivering best-in-class products.
Your ability to stay current with technology trends and understand business data requirements will drive data product design and thought leadership on technical architecture. Location
This position is based in Zug, Switzerland. Legal eligibility to work in Switzerland is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive initiatives by engaging with collaborators, communicating, and educating on software architecture and design
* Design, communicate, and drive enterprise software strategy, including data products
* Collaborate closely with product teams to understand business use cases and assist with architecture
* Research new technologies and patterns to lead innovation
* Identify architecture and technology gaps and work with stakeholders across organizational boundaries to address them
* Provide architecture expertise to support product development within business units
* Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices, defining standards of technical excellence
* Act as a software strategy expert, coaching and advising extended teams
* Secure support and buy-in from critical stakeholders for key initiatives and projects
* Facilitate communication and teamwork among departments for efficient delivery
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, especially in Data and AI
* Conduct feasibility studies and recommend appropriate technologies and solutions
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience designing and developing enterprise-level software products or solutions
* Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Proven experience as a Software Architect, including at least 2 years of SaaS on public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Track record of delivering enterprise software with alignment across internal and external customers
* Deep expertise in cloud-native development, infrastructure as code, and cloud platforms
* Ability to evaluate and learn new technologies quickly
* Experience with Agile methodologies
* Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
* Proactive attitude with a passion for execution
