The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and supervision of Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety (EHS) programs for a manufacturing site.
Key responsibilities include developing and continuously improving the EHS process safety management system in line with global and international standards.
Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and international standards related to process safety.
* Develop and implement EHS concepts and programs
* Select, train, and support the use of tools and data systems for EHS process safety
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve EHS goals
* Conduct plant walk-throughs, short audits, and inspections, and develop dashboards and performance monitoring systems for process safety
Key requirements for the position include:
* A Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent
* Safety Engineer (Sicherheitsingenieur) EKAS / SUVA certification and experience in process safety
* Profound work experience within the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Bio-manufacturing industry
* Confirmed process understanding in Biopharma manufacturing (safety aspects)
* Strong communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written
* Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity using coaching skills
