Electrical Network Engineer 80% to 100%
In this role, you will work within the Operations sector of the "Networks" department.
Your mission
You carry out medium and long-term network calculations as part of the 65 kV network development plan, researching and analysing solutions. You establish hypotheses based on industry documents, contacts with partners, etc. You write your conclusions in report form.
You manage network modelling used for various types of calculations (flows, contingencies, fault currents, etc.) in various situations (current, future, seasonal). You manage and conduct studies according to connection requests or planned projects.
You contribute to the precise technical sizing of high voltage equipment and provide support to the networks department regarding high voltage and supra-regional distribution networks.
Your profile
* Bachelor or Master HES/EPFL in the field of electricity (e.g. electrical engineering, industrial systems with Power & Control orientation or energy and environmental techniques with Smart Grid orientation)
* 3-5 years of experience in distribution or transmission networks
* Analytical mind and good calculation skills
* Good knowledge of the high voltage field
* Proficiency in network calculation software and Excel
* Dynamic, proactive, reliable, able to make proposals
* Precise, persevering, organised
* Ability to work both independently and in a team
* Native French or German speaker with a good knowledge of the other language (B1-B2)
