Deputy Quality Assurance Manager (m/w/d)
Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Quality Assurance Manager to join our QA team in Staad, Switzerland. The QA team is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust quality processes across the group, providing support to other departments as needed.
Role and Responsibilities
The Deputy QA Manager will support the QA team in developing and maintaining quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a good understanding of QA regulations and procedures, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of complex quality issues. The position also involves deputizing for the QA Manager in their absence.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the site QMS in line with GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.
* Assisting in managing change control processes and risk assessments such as FMEA and HACCP.
* Supporting regulatory compliance activities, including audits and inspections.
* Managing customer and supplier quality issues, including deviations and complaints.
* Contributing to internal audits and ensuring documentation compliance.
* Providing mentoring and training to junior staff.
Requirements
* Higher education (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in life sciences, (bio)chemistry, engineering, or related fields.
* At least 2 years of experience in QA roles within the Life Science industry.
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
* Knowledge of quality processes, regulatory standards, and GMP practices.
* Experience with quality management systems and audits.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
